New York City Campaign Finance Board
I provide guidance to campaigns on compliance with mass mailings restrictions during the election year. I also handle New York Freedom of Information Law, Open Meetings Law and Lobbying Law matters for the agency, in addition to developing and implementing campaign finance policy standards and procedures. I previously enforced the New York City Campaign Finance Act and New York City Campaign Finance Board Rules by representing the agency at administrative hearings, before the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings, and in New York State Supreme Court.
Appellate Court Attorney
I researched legal issues arising from appeals before the court in criminal, civil, family law, and election matters and composed legal memoranda briefing the court.
Assistant Public Defender
I represented indigent clients in criminal matters in village and town courts and in Rochester City Court. I conducted numerous non-jury trials and three jury trials in one year while handling the second highest caseload in my section.
